Tykote® 1015

CARBOXYLATED STYRENE-BUTADIENE EMULSION

Tykote® 1015 is designed as a base resin for functional coatings. Tykote® 1015 provides high strength and pigment compatibility. This low surfactant containing copolymer can be used to compound functional coatings exhibiting superior water and water vapor resistance. This firm polymer also gives rise to blocking resistant coatings. Tykote® 1015 exhibits excellent mechanical stability and can be applied to a variety of substrates using many different application methods. Tykote® 1015 has no dispersing functionality in order to comply with European food regulations. Detailed FDA 21 CFR and European food compliances are available upon request.
