Building & Industrial Mat

polymers_building_and_industrial_mat

Building & Industrial mats (BIM), which include glassmat and organic mat, are a popular choice of materials in construction, thanks to their durability, high moisture resistance and vapor permeability, and superior tear strength. Glassmat is used in shingles, as support or backing for waterproof membranes, and as facings for plasterboard.

MCP has developed styrene-butadiene and hybrid technology, especially for use on organic spunbond roofing mats, that imparts excellent tensile strength and resistance to elongation at room and elevated temperatures.
