Polymer Modified Roads

polymers_road_construction.png

Application Description

Polymer modified roads provide significant advantages over other methods of road construction, when you consider the environmental impact, cost reduction, cure time and the benefits of use of native soils & aggregates to provide a natural appearance.

MCP recommends styrene butadiene emulsions for road construction applications because of the excellent water strength properties. MCP's styrene acrylic emulsion polymers offers compatibility with salt solutions. Application and cure rates are dependent on the soil composition and geographical location.
