Automotive Underbody

Application Description

Coatings are applied to the underside of vehicles to provide protection to the metal components. These coatings need to have adhesion, as well as corrosion and chemical resistance. The emulsion polymer needs to be able to accept high filler loadings as well as work with corrosion inhibiting pigments.

MCP offers styrene butadiene polymer emulsions that provide a range of strength and flexibility for automobile underbody coatings.
