Printing Inks

polymers_printing_inks

Runnability, drying rate, adhesion and appearance are all important in ink formulations depending on application, substrate and printing process.

For example, MCP's resin supported emulsions (RSE) provide excellent runnability or rewettability on gravure and flexographic printing presses. Styrene acrylic RSE polymers are readily formulated into inks to help build a glossy appearance, impart good water, rub, and oil and grease resistance.
