Rovene® 7007

VINYL-ACETATE ETHYLENE EMULSION

Rovene 7007 is a non-plasticized emulsion polymer based on vinyl acetate and ethylene with a Tg +14°C. It shows good resistance against aging, light or alkali. Rovene 7007 is a very friendly product for the environment. Good compatibility with different tackifiers, plasticizers, solvents, and extenders, although this has to be checked in each individual case of course.

Rovene 7007 provides a soft flexible film with good adhesion on the surface of many common plastic substrates. It is used as general adhesive for packaging, bookbinding, and bonding for plastic films, coated papers. Rovene 7007 is broadly used as a particularly suitable base emulsion for the formulation of adhesives for difficult substrates, such as lacquered surfaces, foils and plastic films in the packaging and paper industry. Rovene 7007 is also an excellent base emulsion for floor-, wall- or ceiling adhesives. Rovene 7007 is compatible with cement so it can be used to reinforce waterproofing capability of cementitious compounds.
