Application Description

There are many metal substrates that require coatings formulated with emulsion polymers, such as galvanized steel, cold rolled steel, and aluminum. Formulators must also consider that metals are often with or without different surface treatments which impacts adhesion. Along with adhesion, other performance requirements include durability and corrosion resistance.

Depending on the final application performance requirements, many chemistries are offered for the metal coatings applications.
