Automotive Carpet

polymers_automotive_carpet Automotive textile applications include tufted carpet, molded nonwoven fabric, hoodliner, and stiffener panels. When used in a formulation, emulsion polymers impart strength, tuft bind, abrasion resistance, and moldability. Styrene-butadiene and Styrene-acrylic emulsion polymers can be used to provide excellent water, oil and solvent resistance to the textile. MCP also offers high glass transition emulsion polymers for moldable nonwoven fabrics that are used for trunk liners and underhood applications.
