January 2022 Price Increases

Dec 3, 2021 3:25:56 PM

Effective January 1, 2022 or as contracts allow, Mallard Creek Polymers, LLC will increase the price of all acrylic and vinyl acetate containing polymers by $.05/lb.

Dear Valued Customer,

2021 has been a very challenging year with strong demand across all industries. On January 1, 2022,
essentially all acrylic and vinyl acetate monomer suppliers are increasing their fixed factor in cost
formulas. As a result, we are announcing a price increase on all styrene acrylic, pure acrylic, and vinyl
acetate-based emulsion polymers, effective January 1, 2022. The following are specific increases based
on chemistry:

  • Acrylic containing polymers: $0.05/lb
  • Vinyl Acetate containing polymers: $0.05/lb

The current $.05/lb surcharge will remain in effect as well due to ongoing cost escalations in all areas of
the business including freight, packaging, and other raw materials. At MCP, we will continue to work
closely with you to manage strong demand, supply shortages, and extended lead times. We appreciate
all your efforts throughout these challenging times.

Sincerely,

Markus Bieber
