Effective August 1, 2015, Mallard Creek Polymers, Inc. will increase prices for Rovene® and Tylac® styrene-butadiene products to the carpet and coated paper/paperboard markets by 7 cents per dry pound.
The price increase is driven by substantial margin erosion in these industries over the past few months due to our inability to recover substantial cost increases. Restoration of some margin is critical to sustain participation in these segments.
