A price increase for acrylics, styrene-acrylics, styrene-butadiene, etc. products has been announced for March 15, 2010.

Effective March 15, 2010, Mallard Creek Polymers, Inc. will increase prices for a ll BarrierPro®, Rovene® , Tychem®, Tykote®, and Tylac® latex and thickener products by up to 5 cents per wet pound for all markets. This increase includes products of all chemistries, including Acrylic, Nitrile, Styrene-Acrylic, Styrene-Butadiene, and Vinyl Acetate-containing products. All previously announced increases remain in effect .

This price increase is driven by the challenges our industry faces in securing key monomers and the continued escalation in raw material costs. Suppliers expect availability to remain tight and the costs to remain high for much of 2010.
