Effective February 5, 2012, Mallard Creek Polymers, Inc. will increase prices for all Styrene Butadiene (SB) latex by 14 cents per dry pound in carpet and related markets.  Additionally, acrylic and styrene-acrylic products will be increased by 5 cents per dry lb at the same time.

This price increase is being driven by increases in raw material costs and continued structural changes in the butadiene supply chain.  The increase is in independent of other price movements previously announced to our customers.
