Mallard Creek Polymers Announces Participation in World of Concrete 2012 and Surfaces 2012 in Las Vegas

Mallard Creek Polymers (MCP) will attend World of Concrete again this year. We are working to grow our business in many cement and construction markets that gain value from polymer modification. The company is offering Rovene® styrene-butadiene (S/B) products, Tylac® nitrile grades for solvent resistance, and ethylene-vinyl acetate powders for oil drilling applications to name a just a few markets of focus. Highly specialized Tychem® polymer additives are in development for modification of precast concrete and other demanding concrete applications.
Effective 2/5/12, Price Increase for all Styrene Butadiene (SB) latex, Acrylic and Styrene-Acrylic products

Effective February 5, 2012, Mallard Creek Polymers, Inc. will increase prices for all Styrene Butadiene (SB) latex by 14 cents per dry pound in carpet and related markets. Additionally, acrylic and styrene-acrylic products will be increased by 5 cents per dry lb at the same time. This price increase is being driven by increases in raw material costs and continued structural changes in the butadiene supply chain. Effective September 6, 2011, Mallard Creek Polymers, Inc. will increase prices for all Styrene Butadiene (SB), acrylic and styrene-acrylic latex products by 5 cents per wet pound in all specialty market applications. This price increase is driven by further unprecedented increases in raw material costs. The adjustment is in addition to all previously announced increases. Additionally, acrylic and styrene-acrylic products will be increased by 4 cents per dry lb at the same time. This price increase is being driven by further unexpected increases in raw material costs.
