Rovene® 4402

CARBOXYLATED STYRENE-BUTADIENE EMULSION

Rovene 4402 is a styrene-butadiene emulsion polymer that has a medium soft hand with outstanding strength properties. This binder is able to accept high filler loads of calcium carbonate, clays, and alumina trihydrate and still retain excellent tensile strength. Sodium polyacrylate thickeners are commonly used to obtain the required application viscosity. Rovene 4402 also has excellent aging properties, wet tensile strength, salt tolerance and adhesion to a wide variety of fibers.
