MCP Europe GmbH will celebrate its one-year anniversary in April. The company, a subsidiary of Mallard Creek Polymers, Inc. (MCP), has accomplished a great deal during this year. There are 17 Ecronova® products available, being produced across the region through a number of excellent manufacturing collaborations. The team has moved to a new headquarters and laboratory near Dortmund, Germany. MCP has already introduced and started selling styrene-butadiene products in Europe. The portfolio of products and chemistry from Ecronova® has already enhanced our offering to the Paint and Coatings industry, specifically providing MCP access to technology for ambient cure crosslinking, very small particle size emulsions, APEO free grades, and improved biocide approaches. The acquisition added over 90 recipes including pure acrylic emulsion polymers, styrene acrylic polymer emulsions, vinyl acetate homopolymers and copolymers, and cationic grades.
