Textile Backcoatings

textileback

Typical textile backcoating applications include carpet, drapery, and upholstery. Emulsion polymers are applied to the back of textiles to improve strength and dimensional stability. Polymer emulsions reduce pilling and fuzzing and they can also be a carrier for ignition resistance materials. MCP provides a range of emulsions that have high filler tolerance and can be formulated for froth or foam application methods.
