Effective 4/19/10, Styrene Butadiene Latex Price to Increase

Effective April 19, 2010, Mallard Creek Polymers, Inc. will increase prices for all Styrene Butadiene (SB) latex products by 5 cents per dry pound in carpet and related markets.
This price increase is being driven by increases in raw materials costs. Specifically, butadiene and other modifiers have increased in cost significantly in the recent months. Availability of raw materials continues to be an issue and is contributing to higher costs.
