Effective June 1, 2010, Mallard Creek Polymers, Inc. will increase prices for all BarrierPro®, Rovene®, Tychem®, Tykote®, and Tylac® latex and thickener products by 5 cents per wet pound for all markets. This increase applies to products of all chemistries including Acrylic, Nitrile, Styrene-Acrylic, Styrene-Butadiene, and Vinyl Acetate-containing products.

This price increase is driven by the challenges our industry faces in securing key monomers and the continued escalation in raw material costs. Suppliers expect availability to remain tight and the costs to remain high for all of 2010.
