Effective 4/4/11, Price Increase for Styrene Butadiene (SB) Latex, Styrene-Acrylic and Acrylic Latex Products

Effective April 4, 2011, Mallard Creek Polymers, Inc. will increase prices for all Styrene Butadiene (SB) latex by 7 cents per dry lb, and all Styrene-Acrylic, and Acrylic latex and thickener products by 6 cents per dry pound in carpet and related markets.
This price increase is being driven by the unexpected further escalation in raw materials costs. While oil prices remain high, costs of raw materials will continue to be a challenge.
