Effective 1/16/11, Price Increase for Styrene Butadiene (SB) Latex Products

Effective January 16, 2011, Mallard Creek Polymers, Inc. will increase prices for all Styrene Butadiene (SB) latex products by 5 cents per dry pound in carpet and related markets. A separate announcement on Acrylic and Styrene-Acrylic latex products is forthcoming.
This price increase is being driven by continued pressure from raw materials costs increases. The expectations in the market are that these pressures will continue through much of 2011.
