Effective February 1, 2011, Mallard Creek Polymers, Inc. will increase prices for all Rovene®, BarrierPro®, Tylac®, and Tykote® styrene-butadiene latex products by 3 cents per wet pound for all markets. Previously announced increases for powders, thickeners, and for styrene-butadiene, acrylic, styrene acrylic, and vinyl acetate-containing latexes remain in effect.

This price increase is driven by the challenges our industry faces in securing key monomers and the continued escalation in raw material costs. The cost increases began in late 2010 and are continuing early in 2011.
