Effective 1/1/11, Price Increase for Rovene® Acrylic, Vinyl Acrylic, and Styrene-Acrylic latexes, and Tychem® Thickener Products

Effective January 1, 2011, Mallard Creek Polymers, Inc. will increase prices for all Rovene® Acrylic, Vinyl Acrylic, and Styrene-Acrylic latexes, and Tychem® thickener products by up to 8 cents per wet pound for all markets.
In addition, Mallard Creek Polymers, Inc. is announcing a price increase for all powder products, effective January 1, 2011, by up to 10 cents per pound.
This price increase is driven by the challenges our industry faces in securing key monomers and the continued escalation in raw material costs. Suppliers expect availability to remain tight and the costs to remain high for all of 2011.
