Effective September 3, 2011, Mallard Creek Polymers, Inc. will increase prices for all Styrene Butadiene (SB) latex by 7 cents per dry pound in carpet and related markets.  Additionally, acrylic and styrene-acrylic products will be increased by 4 cents per dry lb at the same time.

This price increase is being driven by further unexpected increases in raw material costs.  The increase is in addition to all previously announced increases.
