Mallard Creek Polymers, Inc. (MCP) has announced a price increase of $0.05 to $0.07 per wet pound for all styrene butadiene emulsion polymers, styrene acrylic, vinyl acrylic and acrylic latex products. These increases are effective March 10, 2012 for all specialty markets including coatings, tape & adhesives, graphic arts, nonwovens, textiles, construction, and oilfield chemicals. This action is necessitated by the current escalation of key building block monomers used to manufacture these product lines.
