As we grow our portfolio of products for Construction products, it became apparent that a Product Selection Guide was needed to help customers apply our BarrierPro® Damp Proof Membrane products. Since merging the strong product lines from Dow Reichhold Specialty Latex and Mallard Creek Polymers, new products have been developed that take the best technical ideas from both companies. The products and technology are unmatched and we can assist with application know-how and formulations expertise.

The BarrierPro® line of latex products provide extreme latitude in formulating Damp Proof Membranes for barrier performance. Mallard Creek Polymers, Inc., the leader in barrier emulsion polymers, continues to develop technology and products to enable membranes and other building products with high MVTR to be developed using water-based coatings. The BarrierPro® grades include BarrierPro® 4550 which provides the optimum balance of flexibility and strength. BarrierPro® 4555 is a new product which has further improved flexibility and excellent water resistance. BarrierPro® 4545 gives maximum resistance to hydrostatic pressure but is still a film former.
